Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi:

Samithi with collaboration of Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports of Bangalore Urban District as part of Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi was celebrated as a Youth Day in the state under the auspices of Surana College Basavanagudi. Jata was taken from the South End Road of Jayanagar, shouting slogan of Swami Vivekananda by college students. The program was then held in the hall of the college. Auto Biography of Swami Vivekananda was shown in the video of an electronic demonstration. Assistant Director of dept. of youth service, spoke about what today's youth has to offer to society. Then the lecture was delivered by Dr. Giridhar Vice-Chancellor, Kim's College Bangalore, delivered a message to students of Swami Vivekananda's biography, their ideals, culture, culture and emotional aspects and the responsibilities of the youth of the country, and a breakfast and drink program for all students through the salutation at the end of the program.
